These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the GreenHearth Homestead website and the purchase of products and services from GreenHearth Homestead and its associated trading activities.
By placing an order with us or booking one of our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
⸻

⸻
2. General Website Terms
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information, descriptions, photographs and prices displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.
However, GreenHearth Homestead is a small-scale, hands-on business and some products are naturally variable. Photographs are provided for illustration and colours, sizes, shapes, textures and other characteristics may vary.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, availability or pricing.
If an obvious pricing or listing error occurs, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the order.
We reserve the right to refuse an order where we have a legitimate reason to do so, including where a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, or where we reasonably believe an order has been placed fraudulently.
⸻
3. Orders & Contracts
Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected goods.
Your order is not necessarily accepted simply because you have received an automated order acknowledgement.
A contract is formed when GreenHearth Homestead confirms acceptance of your order, normally through an order confirmation or other written communication.
We will provide relevant order information in a form that you can retain for your records.
If we are unable to fulfil an accepted order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund where applicable.
⸻
4. Prices & Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).
The price payable will be the price displayed at the time the order is placed, unless an obvious pricing error has occurred.
Any applicable delivery charges or additional agreed charges will be displayed or communicated before payment is completed.
Payment must be made using the payment methods made available by GreenHearth Homestead.
We do not accept responsibility for delays caused by payment providers, banks or third-party payment systems.
⸻
5. Delivery & Collection
Delivery arrangements vary between products.
The available delivery or collection options, charges and estimated timescales will be communicated during the ordering process.
Where a specific delivery date or time has been agreed, we will make reasonable efforts to meet it.
Unless otherwise agreed, delivery times are estimates rather than guaranteed appointments.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that someone is available to receive an order where required.
Where an order cannot be delivered because incorrect information was supplied or nobody is available to receive it, additional delivery charges may apply where reasonable and lawful.
⸻
6. Fresh Eggs & Poultry Products
GreenHearth Homestead supplies fresh eggs produced by our own flock.
Egg availability is dependent upon the health, welfare, seasonal laying patterns and natural productivity of our hens. We cannot guarantee the availability of particular breeds, shell colours or quantities at all times.
Our egg boxes may contain eggs of different sizes and colours depending on flock availability.
Customers should follow the storage and handling information supplied with their eggs.
Eggs must be handled and stored appropriately after delivery or collection.
Because fresh eggs are a perishable food product, they are generally not eligible for cancellation simply because a customer changes their mind once supplied.
This does not affect any statutory rights relating to food that is unsafe, damaged, faulty or not as described.
⸻
7. GreenHearth Pantry Co. & Food Products
GreenHearth Pantry Co. produces and sells selected homemade and small-batch food products.
Because these products are handmade or produced in small batches, minor variations in appearance, texture, colour and consistency may occur.
Product ingredients, allergen information and relevant food information will be provided as required by applicable UK food law.
Customers are responsible for reading ingredient and allergen information before consuming a product.
Where food is purchased online, relevant mandatory food information must be made available before purchase and at delivery where required by law.
Customers with allergies or dietary requirements should contact us before ordering if they require clarification about a product.
We cannot guarantee that a product is suitable for an individual allergy or dietary requirement unless this has been specifically confirmed by GreenHearth Homestead.
Food products should be stored according to the instructions provided.
Once delivered, responsibility for appropriate storage passes to the customer.
Perishable food products are not normally eligible for cancellation because of a change of mind.
This does not affect statutory rights where food is unsafe, defective, damaged or not as described.
⸻
8. GreenHearth Nut Butter Co.
GreenHearth Nut Butter Co. produces small-batch nut butter products.
Our nut butters are made using ingredients stated on the relevant product listing and packaging.
Because our products contain nuts, they are unsuitable for individuals with relevant nut allergies.
Customers must read the full ingredient and allergen information before consuming the product.
Natural separation of oils may occur in nut butter and does not necessarily indicate that the product is defective. Stirring or aggressively shaking the product may be required.
Small variations in texture, colour and consistency may occur between batches.
Products should be stored according to the instructions displayed on the product or packaging.
Nut butter products are food products and are therefore subject to the food-specific provisions of these Terms & Conditions.
⸻
9. Plants & Living Products
GreenHearth Homestead may sell plants, seedlings, cuttings and other living horticultural products.
Plants are living organisms and may naturally vary in size, shape, colour and appearance.
Availability is seasonal and dependent upon growing conditions, weather, pests, disease and other factors outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to supply healthy plants that are suitable for sale at the time of dispatch or collection.
Once a plant has been delivered or collected, its subsequent health and survival depend upon environmental conditions and the care provided by the customer.
We cannot guarantee the long-term survival, growth, flowering, fruiting or yield of a plant after delivery or collection.
If a plant arrives significantly damaged or in an unreasonable condition, customers should contact us promptly with photographs so that we can assess the issue.
⸻
10. Handcrafted & Small-Batch Products
Many GreenHearth products are produced by hand or in small batches.
Natural differences between individual products are therefore expected and should not automatically be considered defects.
Where a product is made specifically to a customer’s agreed specification, cancellation and return rights may be affected where permitted by law.
We will clearly communicate any relevant customisation requirements before production.
⸻
11. GreenHearth Haulage
GreenHearth Haulage provides selected local collection, delivery, removal and assembly services.
Services may include:
Furniture removal
Online marketplace collections
Waste and rubbish removal
Garden waste removal
Same-day deliveries and shipments
Flat-pack furniture assembly
Each booking constitutes a separate service agreement and may be subject to a quoted price, agreed collection and delivery points, item description and any additional conditions communicated before the booking.
⸻
12. Furniture Removal
Customers must provide accurate information about the furniture to be collected, including its approximate size, quantity, weight and location.
Customers must inform us before collection if furniture is located upstairs, downstairs, in restricted-access areas or requires dismantling.
We reserve the right to amend a quotation where the actual circumstances differ materially from those described when the booking was made.
Customers are responsible for ensuring reasonable and safe access to the furniture.
We will take reasonable care when handling items but cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by pre-existing defects, poor construction, inadequate access, unstable structures or information that was not disclosed before the collection.
We will not knowingly transport dangerous, illegal or unsafe items.
⸻
13. Online Marketplace Collections
GreenHearth Haulage can collect items purchased through platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Gumtree or similar services.
The customer remains responsible for purchasing the item and ensuring that the seller has made it available for collection.
GreenHearth Haulage acts as the customer’s collection and delivery provider and does not inspect or guarantee the condition, authenticity, ownership or value of the item being collected.
Customers should confirm that the item is suitable for transport before booking.
We are not responsible for disputes between the buyer and seller of an item.
Where an item cannot be collected because the seller is unavailable, the item is materially different from the agreed description, or access is not reasonably possible, additional charges may apply where agreed and lawful.
⸻
14. Waste & Rubbish Removal
GreenHearth Haulage will only accept waste that it is legally permitted and appropriately equipped to transport.
Customers must accurately describe the waste before collection.
We reserve the right to refuse waste that is hazardous, prohibited, contaminated, dangerous or materially different from the description provided.
Examples of waste that may require specialist handling include asbestos, chemicals, fuels, clinical waste, gas cylinders, certain electrical equipment, contaminated materials and other controlled or hazardous waste.
Where specialist disposal is required, we may recommend that the customer uses an appropriately licensed specialist contractor.
Where GreenHearth Haulage collects waste, it will be transported and disposed of through appropriate authorised channels in accordance with applicable requirements.
Customers must not conceal prohibited or hazardous waste within a load.
Additional charges may apply where the nature, quantity or disposal requirements of the waste differ materially from the original description.
GreenHearth Haulage reserves the right to refuse collection of any load where accepting it would be unsafe or unlawful.
⸻
15. Garden Waste Removal
Garden waste collections may include items such as grass cuttings, hedge trimmings, branches, leaves and other suitable green waste.
Customers must inform us if the load contains materials other than ordinary garden waste.
Soil, rubble, treated timber, chemicals, pesticides, asbestos and other hazardous or specialist materials may not be accepted as garden waste.
Where garden waste is collected as waste, it will be handled and disposed of through appropriate channels.
⸻
16. Same-Day Delivery & Shipments
Same-day delivery is subject to vehicle availability, driver availability, distance, traffic, weather and the nature of the item.
A same-day service is not guaranteed unless a specific booking has been confirmed by GreenHearth Haulage.
Customers must provide accurate collection and delivery addresses and sufficient information about the goods.
Items must be ready for collection at the agreed time unless loading or preparation has been specifically included in the booking.
Additional waiting time, loading difficulties or changes to the agreed collection may result in additional charges where these have been agreed or are reasonably required.
⸻
17. Flat-Pack Furniture Assembly
GreenHearth Haulage may provide flat-pack furniture assembly as an additional service.
Customers must ensure that all required parts, fixings and manufacturer instructions are present before assembly begins.
We will assemble furniture in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions where reasonably possible.
We are not responsible for manufacturing defects, missing components, incorrect components, damaged components or instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
Where wall fixing or anchoring is requested, customers are responsible for informing us of any relevant hidden pipes, cables or structural issues and for confirming that the proposed fixing location is suitable.
We will not undertake work that we reasonably consider unsafe.
⸻
18. Haulage Quotes & Additional Charges
Quotes are based on the information supplied by the customer.
If the circumstances at collection differ materially from the information provided, the quoted price may need to be revised.
Examples include:
Additional items
Larger or heavier items
Difficult access
Additional floors
Significant waiting time
Additional loading or unloading requirements
Unexpected dismantling
Additional mileage
Waste that requires specialist disposal
Where practical, we will inform the customer of any additional cost before carrying out the additional work.
⸻
19. Haulage Cancellations
Customers should provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or rearrange a booking.
Cancellation charges, where applicable, will be communicated at the time of booking and will reflect reasonable costs or losses incurred by GreenHearth Haulage.
We will not impose unfair or disproportionate cancellation charges.
Where a customer has a statutory right to cancel a service contract, those rights will apply.
⸻
20. Customer Responsibilities for Haulage
Customers must:
Provide accurate information about the job.
Provide safe and reasonable access.
Disclose stairs, restricted access and other relevant conditions.
Ensure items are ready for collection where agreed.
Declare waste accurately.
Not conceal prohibited or hazardous materials.
Obtain any permissions required for access to private or restricted areas.
Ensure that goods being transported are legally owned or that the customer has permission for them to be transported.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to instruct GreenHearth Haulage to collect and transport the goods.
⸻
21. Damage & Liability
GreenHearth Homestead and GreenHearth Haulage will take reasonable care when handling customer property.
Customers should disclose existing damage, fragile components or known structural weaknesses before work begins.
We cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from pre-existing defects, inadequate packaging, poor construction, unsafe access or circumstances that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Consumer rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods and services remain unaffected.
⸻
22. Events Outside Our Control
GreenHearth Homestead may occasionally be unable to fulfil an order or service because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These may include severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, illness, animal welfare emergencies, supplier failures, utility failures, natural disasters, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and rearrange or refund orders or services where appropriate.
This section does not remove any statutory consumer rights.

You may view and use the website for personal and lawful purposes.

⸻
25. Privacy & Personal Information
We collect and use customer information only as reasonably necessary to operate our business, process orders, provide services, communicate with customers and meet legal obligations.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Customers should read our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal data is collected, stored and used.
⸻
26. Complaints
We want customers to have a positive experience with GreenHearth.
If you are unhappy with a product or service, please contact us as soon as possible and explain the issue.
We will consider complaints fairly and aim to resolve genuine problems promptly and reasonably.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, customers retain any rights available to them under applicable UK consumer law.
⸻
27. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or reduce any statutory rights that apply to consumers.
Where a term in these Terms & Conditions conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the relevant legal right will take precedence.
Our terms are intended to be fair and transparent and will not be interpreted as attempting to exclude responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
⸻
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to GreenHearth Homestead, our products, services or applicable legal requirements.
The version applicable to an order or booking will normally be the version in force at the time the contract is entered into, unless a change is required by law.
The latest version will be published on our website.
⸻
29. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Where applicable, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
